Odisha Public Service Commission published notification for the post of Medical Officer (assistant surgeon) in Junior Class- I (Group- A ) of Odisha Medical and Health Service Cadre under Health and Family Welfare Department. Eligible candidates may apply online. Other relevant details are mentioned below:

Eligible candidates may apply online through the website www.opsc.gov.in within the specified time mentioned above and send a printout of the filled online application duly signed along with the requisite certificates and documents, fee in an envelope superscribed as the “Application for the post of Medical Officer (Assistant Surgeon)” by speed/registered post to the Special Secretary, Odisha Public Service Commission, 19, Dr. P.K. Parija Road Cuttack – 753001 by 10/03/2016 (up to 5:00 pm)

Fee:

Eligible candidates intending to apply will have to pay Rs.300/- that is to be deposited at any branch of the State Bank of India by the use of Online Challan (pay-in-slip). SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from payment.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must possess MBBS or its equivalent from a medical college or Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India.

Age:

Candidates must have attained 21 years and must not exceed 32 as on 01/01/2016. Age relaxation of 5 years is applicable to SEBC/SC/ST/Women/Ex-Servicemen and age relaxation of 10 years is applicable to PH candidates.

Mode of Selection:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test and career candidates.
